We take this opportunity to wish all our readers and parishioners a Peaceful and Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As we write these notes we are looking forward to our Annual Christmas Concert which is now on two nights Friday 13th and Saturday 14th December. Plans are well underway for the concerts. There are a limited number of tickets available for the Saturday night. Tickets for the Saturday 14th are available from Katie’s Newsagent Mallow or Susan Brennan 086/3530401. Both nights will feature the following: Cór Mhágh Ealla, Linda Kenny, Damian Smith, Pamela Muganwa, Alan Carney MD & Friends. If there is anyone available to help with one or both nights with the handing out of refreshments please let any of the churchwardens know.

Our MU weekend conference was held in Garryvoe Hotel from 22nd to 24th November. Conference speakers were Sylvia Helen, Deirdre Whitley, Hilary Dring and Rev. Andrew Orr who spoke on the theme listening to God, Nurturing ourselves and our world. A full packed weekend was had by everyone including beautiful food and hotel. Also free time to meet new and old friends. To finish our weekend we had a prayer walk on the beach Sunday morning for the early people led by Veronica Deane. Later in the morning our MU Chaplain Rev. Isabel Jackson led us in Holy Communion Service. Followed by goodbyes and home.
Reminder: Our membership is due by 15th January. Anyone who needs a form contact Ruth Sherlock.
Our Christmas meal was held in the Wild Goose restaurant Mallow on Wednesday 27th November. Thanks to all who organised this night and to all who came and made it a very socialable evening.

Baptism
On Sunday the 24th November we welcomed Tara Emily Ryan into the church along with her parents, godparents and family. Thanks to Canon Alan Marley for taking this service.
