And today’s bellringing team eager to begin a new chapter for the historic bells of St Mary’s Doneraile are David Deane, Roy Deane, Linda Deane, Jane Wharton, Diana Buckley and Ian Wharton.

The Rector with Cllr O’Flynn and the two engineers from the UK who will be responsible for hanging the bells throughout the following week.

One of the massive Bell Wheels which will guide the huge ropes which the bellringers pull to create the wonderful sound of the bells.
