As we write these notes we are looking forward to our Annual Christmas Concert on Friday the 14th December. All the tickets are sold out. It is great the event is so popular. As usual we have a great line up of entertainers and many people regard this as the start of “Christmas” for them. Thanks to everyone who organised and helped with this event in anyway.

Mothers Union
The Mother’s Union Conference weekend was held from 9th November to Sunday 11th in Garryvoe Hotel. It was a full packed weekend. Our main speaker was Mrs Kathryn Draper from Lismore. We also had some very interesting workshops. Our MU Chaplain Rev. Isobel Jackson took prayers each day and Holy Communion Service on Saturday evening. It was a very enjoyable time spent together meeting old friends and new people. Thanks to everyone who made the weekend such a success. It is a lovely hotel for anyone who would like a break by the sea.
On Friday 23rd November we held a reindeer drive in St. James Hall. Thanks to everyone who came and supported it.
Also thanks to anyone who contributed to the Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal.
Our Christmas meal was held on Wednesday 28th November in Corbett Court, Ballyhea. This was a great success with numbers increasing each year. It was a very sociable evening with delicious food and pleasant service. Thanks to everyone who came. It was great to see people from different sides of the parish.
Also our membership is now due. It is €35 or €55 for a couple. This can be given to our Treasurer Linda Deane or posted back to Diocesan Treasurer Jean Patterson by the end of December.
Christmas Greeting to all from Mallow Mothers Union.
