September. Thanks to all who decorated the Church or helped with the service in
anyway. A special thank you, to our speaker Rev Jim Stephens from Kerry for
travelling to be with us. The collection went to Mallow/Charleville Red Cross
Youth and the produce went to Mallow Meals on Wheels and Penny Dinners.
Congratulations to our sunflower competition winners Esther Graham with a

Mother Union
On the 19th October we were delighted to welcome Mrs. Hazel Sweetnam and her
son John. They spoke about his life and what he has achieved. John is a very
gifted and interesting young man. He told us about his work and many trips to
the Special Olympics horse riding events. Also he proudly showed us the medals
which he has won. He also has a great interest in Flags of the world which he
brought and tested our knowledge on which country they came from. John and
his mother explained about being involved in the Down Syndrome organisation.
It has given him great help and a good social life. Also thanks to Hazel for
bringing the MU literature stall. She was delighted with the sales on the night.
Thanks to everyone who came and supported it.
